Greco Les Paul

Hello,

I just bought this on Ebay. I haven't got it yet but,

Did I do okay? What are these like? I guess it was made in the 80's.
I have a Love Rock Tokia with Tom Holmes pup's(I put in) and I just love these MIJ guitars!
I used to use a Parker for my live gig's because of the piezo but,
I now use my Tokia Love rock standard. I set my GT-3 up so I can make it sort-a sound like an acoustic.no electric does anyway. Love how it plays!
I have a one man band act and switching from electric to acoustic is sort of a problem. So, I use one guitar. i hope it's a nice guitar. Does anyone have any suggestion's on pup's if I want to add something different to this one?
I like bluesy sounds.And classic Les Paul sounds. I might want something that might fit blues and Jazz styles on this one. Don't know? The Holmes are a PAF style pup.

Just got the guitar! My first Greco!
I love these MIJ guitars. It plays just as well as my Tokia! Great.

I have question as to the model. The 450 What is it?

Is the top maple? Back looks mahogany but can't tell if it's one piece or two. Ii don't see any sign's of a crease. Not that I don't trust the information
from the seller but, sometimes there is more info. Just nice to know.

Does any one here know what neck pup would sound very nice Les Paul Jazzy tone?
Even if it's a Greco pup.

Any info on this guitar would be nice. It was told to me that it's a mint collection guitar from 84? Does this seem correct.

nice snag there; for under $500 shipped, very nice

1984 Mint Collection EG450: maple top, mahogany body & neck, long neck tenon, the standard black FUJICON caps, Scream'n 1982 pups, and it looks like yours is a nice light weight to boot

Hell, if I would have seen it, I probably would have bought that one

nice old wood & old pickups; probably kills Gibsons that cost 2, 3, or 4 times as much 8) ..................

Yeah, nice one Trev....good price on a good guitar. I'd play it a bit first beore you start thinking about switching anything out - it's a nice rig. Man, I just love a black Les Paul.

After playing this for the day...

I'm not changing this at all! It has some nice scars and a cut in the neck but, it plays like a dream and sounds beautiful!
I will however do some general maintenance.
But, beyond that nothing else should be done.
Even the hardware is worn and I love it!

You'd pay premium price for a Gibson with this kind of play and sound.

I love it and my Tokia Love Rock. I want to start a whole collection of these
MIJ's!
