Goldstar tone pot

Further to my recent post on the Goldstar I recently inherited (http://www.tokaiforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=19734), I think I'm going to have to replace one of the tone pots because the shaft sticks up higher than it should and just turns and turns. I'm looking to keep the guitar as original as possible, so can anyone give me a steer on which type/brand I should buy?

Anybody with any thoughts on this? Did Tokai use Alpha pots in their 1980's Goldstars? I thought I read that somewhere.

There'a a guy on eBay parting out a mid-80s Goldstar. Maybe you can source the parts from him.

The Goldstar pots were made by Noble.

Thanks for the replies - very useful. The eBay guy was only willing to sell the entire assembly for ?40...
