Here it is folks... super sexy sweet Springy Sound strat.
All original Tokai made in Japan from 1981
Candy Apple Red aka Metallic Red
excellent condition, but a player. a few dings here and there.
U-stamped pickups
I have had this for about 10 years, and the guy I bought it from told me it was an ST-60. It's possible it's a ST-50, but I haven't found any way to verify. Some 60's were known to come with the U pickups. So - that's all I've got.
Fantastic 64-style neck, best strat neck i've personally played.
Why am I getting rid of it? I'm just not a Strat guy anymore. Simple as that.
Comes with original Tokai gig bag as well, although previous owner had put a piece of tape on it, which is still on there.
Not sure what else I can tell you about it... so please ask questions if you have any.
Sale price - $1000 plus shipping. I will ship it in the gig bag in a well packed box. Local sales (Boston area) also encouraged.
Will consider trades... things I'm looking for: 80's Schecter PT, good humbucker SG with a 61-style neck, maybe some other humbucker Tele, maybe a Jazzmaster. MIA/MIJ stuff only. I like Tokais, Grecos, etc, too.
