I thought, Tokai don?t use fret edge binding anymore for its high-end models?

If only they would sell that '54 goldie here in Japan! Those look like export models and are probably special orders. Nice stuff.

Whats with the different headstock ?? i thought Germany's Tokai's didn't have to have modified headstocks. Reminds me of the Epiphone Elitist series. I've never seen a real '53/54 GT model, is that how close the wraparound tailpiece is to the P-90 for those years ??

Nice selection of axes !!

I can buy that for you Harold, would be fun to ship to the biggest current exporter of MIJ from Japan :D

I am actually thinking of asking how much a custom order would be here from the Guitar Shop. The list price on the ebay ones is fairly low I think....

Oh man! Jeff Beck model Tokai. So sweet.

If I get another Les Paul ever, I'll custom order from Tokai. Basically that Jeff Beck model with a no-inlay ebony board and covered pickups.
