Another point, that doesn't mean the same thing in Aus as it does in the UK apparently, it is now used as slang over here with the young kids, just like ***** and many other words, all gets back to your interpretation which was my original point.

8) exactly mick thats it. most of my strong expressions could be it.
always thought its well understood in all the english speaking world
and its maybe the US thing originally. they like it a lot over there
i guess. i lived there for many years and going back again later.
u know the USA is maybe a bit tougher place than the rest but
its somehow fantastic living there and this u just hav to get
experienced to know it. the euro must be a beautiful/kind/peace place
but most of the gtrs and music we love are from usa and our gtrs
here are from japan. there is even no mountain dew really in euro
and this is kinda hard to believe to many american people for example
many other places are very nice and ofcourse no problem there
but even today some places dont understand what Hank Hill simply
means when he says "i am gonna kick his ***!" everytime. its just
a bit larger and groovier expression basically like a joke.........
anyways both USA and euro are very attractive places we all agree
with that. no doubt. japan is rich but a hard place to live too often.

i was picked hard this time because of my US expression or something
and i am leaving here soon since i am done leaving most of good infos
here i could bring from japan. seems like only i became a bad one
somehow but please remember who always start those non-sense
negative comments on the forum? and if we fight back coz we have
"the justice" then who somehow sadly always become a lamb?
"FORUM" is "FOR a LAMB to get sacrifice, somebody or something?
anyways the same old story, the same old problem, come and go
in this man's world. hope god knows everything and do us right
someday before the world goes down too bad. its already been that
way for a long time now. at the same time we are all becoming very
friendly and together and sharing in today's world and thats just great.

KK..time for MY two cents worth before I lock this thread.
Joe's "*** kicking comment" was a metaphorical way of Joe saying "see..we told them and now we're proven correct".
Could he have chosen a better way of expressing that?...Perhaps.
If he had said "we kicked their asses" would the delicate and intolerant types have gotten so up in arms?....I'm guessing no.
Does Joe come across a little arrogant in his posts?....possibly.
But I swear he's not the only poster to type with a swagger and yet is vilified for it.
I understand about the bad blood of the recent past but I can admit to being more than a little disappointed at the nit picking being directed at Joe.
Quite a few of you need to stop taking yourselves so seriously.
Joe was admonished over his comments directed at dealers and took it on the chin...I was quite impressed with the way he accepted the discussions about the issue that he and I had in private.
To see him being railroaded rather than taken aside and corrected politely is extremely disappointing.
Rant ended and so is this thread
