Does my strat body is a tokai one?

Hi,

I have a strat body that I bought there are 5 years and the previous owner said me that it was a tokai strat body but I'm not sure he was honnest...


Do you have a photo of a tokai strat body? I don't find one on the forum. I only have the body, not the eletronic... I want to compare to my strat body in order to see if there is some common details...

On my body there was a stamp with blue ink on the neck pocket but it is erased so we don't read anything. The only stamp that is on the body is the number 57 on the neck pickup cavity.

It looks like a decent body but not a Tokai (at least not a 70's/80's body). There should be some codes stamped into the control cavity, like this:

Yeah...if you look closely there is a "57" stamped in the pickup rout.
Doesn't appear to be Tokai...but I'd say MiJ for sure.

why do you say mij for sure? because of the wood grain?
