hi guys.
Have any of you guys measured the resistance of your MK3 and MK2 pickups?
I'm measuring the MK2s at 11,5k bridge, and 7,5k neck.
Strange thing is, measuring the neck pickup on an LS85 shows the neck at 10k, and bridge at 11,5k.
Question is, why is the neck pickup on the LS85 so strong, compared to an MK2 neck pickups (7,5K)?
Let's assume this particular LS85 has MK3s in it, still a bit confusing that it should read 10k.
Having said that, it sounds awesome, so if an MK3 neck measures at 10k, then all I can say is it sounds great.
No need to remove pickups to measure them, just attach an Ohm meter to a cable coming out the input jack.
Thanks
