Very much, yes. So far (and without endoscopy) it looks quite a bit like the non-serial, block inlay guitars were not made in a completely different era than the regular ones with the '82-'84 serials?

Or a different production method.

The earliest Korean Tokai I have found was from the 1970s and was an acoustic.

Sigma & Martin used a sort of hybrid production method where parts were cut in Japan and assembled in the US and they called them made in America.

These orange label guitars are odd. A lot of bang for the buck. Quite the mystery IMHO.
