Buying my first Tokai. Advice from Love Rock owners please.

I'd like to make an informed decision buying my first Tokai. Used or new. I'm not too familiar with these other than that the quality is excellent. And that you'd want to buy one made in Japan.

I have about $850 to spend.

Guitars I've owned and loved:
Gibson Les Paul Traditional Iced Tea 60's Neck
Gibson Les Paul Custom Alpine White

What would you recommend that would be comparable to either of those?

I'll be playing through a Marshall JCM800 and am looking for a Tokai that is on that level that can do that amp justice.

Absolutely any Japanese Tokai LP style guitar in your budget would be a great instrument. The model numbers are all over the place so if you see something that's a LS85F then it's probably just a slightly older LS92F (or something like that) so don't get hung up on model numbers
