Breezy decal

Does this Breezy decal look right?

Apart from the fact that it doesn't say "Breezy", I don't recall seeing the "Oldies But Goldies" script on a Breezy before. Here's my 1980 TE70 as a comparison:

doesn't look right to me - certainly never seen a Breezy that didn't say so.

its definitely a bad repro waterslide replacement decal.... not the correct size

Judging by the colour I'd say thats a butterscotch affinity Squier with new scratchplate and a decal applied.

There's another thread on this Tele, & the owner posted some pics of the internals. Both the neck butt & body cavities have stamped codes that I'm almost certain are Tokai - have a look at the extra pics link in the ad. The only thing that looks "wrong" about it is the decal.

This one has me really puzzled. :-? My best guess is that the original decal was removed and then later replaced with the current one. Strange though.
