Should be a great player, at a fair price, since it's been modded. Love that color and solid top! http://cgi.ebay.com/1981-HIGH-END-VINTAGE-TOKAI-LOVE-ROCK-LS200-RARE_W0QQitemZ120430310796QQcmdZViewItemQQptZGuitar?hash=item1c0a34b58c&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A10%7C66%3A2%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1309%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50

Yep, there's no doubt about that one - pretty fantastic!

Must be a good time to sell LS-200s! :)

I would say brilliant timing on his part given the buzz around the '85 on eBaY right now...

well done togps :D

I didn't realize there is no circuit board in the LS-200. Were they all like that? I haven't seen enough of this model to know.

It might be possible to plug those toggle holes with maple.

From '78 - '82 (at least) LS150 and LS200 were traditional pots/caps

Not trying to rock the boat, but it sure looks more like a LS150 than a 200

Missing pickup covers and is a burst. Just comparing to the cataloge.

Cheers, Rich.

Also looks like one of the pickups was swapped out, and the rectangular cream plastic around the neck pickup is much brighter in color than the bridge. Just my observations. Again, not trying to knock a beautiful guitar.

Cheers, Rich.

I've found that my pickups / rings near the bridge are darker from hand contact with them while playing - whether it's a Strat or a Les Paul

Hi

It is the finish lacquer that distinguish between Ls-150 and LS-200, the LS-150 have normal lacquer finish, the LS-200 have Cashew Lacquer...mmm ....
The cashew lacquer give a lightish brownish look

This Ls-200 listed on ebay is the nicest one i have seen for a long time, congratulations to the buyer, and to the seller for an excellent listing and great pics... 8)

8) hey grecoburst, the seller is that "topoo" in germany.....
you can see his store pic in the link bottom.......
