8 digit serial breezysound

Hi

I have been offered a Tokai Breezysound which looks and sounds great. It has an 8 digit serial number on headstock, all numbers, starting with 16.

Are 8 digit serial numbers used in Breezysound?

Looks like it’s probably a Chinese guitar. And not sure if it’s legitimate.

Might be legit. There just isn't much information on Chinese production of Tokais.
