1985(?) tokai F60, black finish

guitar is in good shape except for a long dent along the front where someone dragged ( presumably) the whammy bar across it


guitar is well made & solid......plays really well, has a nice beefy neck. which is hard rock maple with rosewood fretboard. it's a fender-style bolt on, not set-neck. also I do not have the whammy bar, unfortunately


can't remember what the body wood is, but it's certainly not plywood, you can make out the woodgrain thru the finish

Your guitar is different to the ones in the link. Yours has a Kahler style tremolo and the ones in the link have fender/ floyd rose style trems.

mine is an "ayers rocker" trem unit, must have been proprietary to tokai?


never noticed that....otherwise I think they are pretty much the same. it's a rare gtr, I've never seen another, and it was hard to find any reference

I'd put it on ebay. You'll show it to a much larger target audience - perhaps looking for one like it and willing to pay more than $250.
