This is my 1985 Grandy SG that I am almost certain was made by Tokai. It has many Tokai attributes as well as the oval 60 that adorns the back of the headstock.
I purchased this SG through a TokaiForum member and have passed up many SG's in its path. I think I must now pass on my Gibson SG Standard to this Grandy. They are just rare and have definite mojo.
It also has square routings and a long neck tenon joint. 1 piece neck and a 17 degree headstock. Ok... Question. Were these Grandy SG's possibly rebadged Tokai SG's that maybe didnt make the Tokai Production line cut???
Either way. I will post some pics for everyone to see.
