A very rare guitar indeed..... are these as rare as the 1980 LS200?

The bidding was at 349,000 yen with 3 1/2 days to go.

some cosmetic changes to the 1981 model, no double ring tuners..but those are changed anyway..

togps knows more about the differences from 80-81

also can you see if that one has fretbinding? i can't tell

and as there are no pics of the control cavity or description of the pickup type and no sticker, its impossible to say if its a 150 or a 200.

sure is a pretty one though...

I was very interested to know how high this will actually go, as it is nudging the US$4000 mark already, I think it will end up higher, even with the blister figure, I think a flame top might go for even higher.

Hi!

I think that LS200s were customer order only at that time. So specs are not documented by definition. Please correct me if I am wrong.

LS150s were "standard" production as far as I know.

Double-ring tuners are 58 anyway, while 150s are 59 IMHO.

both my 200's reborn 79 and love rock 80 have double rings..

and I think 150 was a custom order too...
