This is a 1981 Tokai spa logo era jazz bass neck.
A long time ago, I bought empty shells and left them as they were with the intention of assembling them someday.
I was planning to buy a Fender Japan jazz bass and assemble it.
I have given up.
Also up for sale is a piece of the body of this neck.
The serial number on the neck plate starts with 1, so I'm sure it was made in 1981.
If you look at the fingerboard, you can see that it has been played a lot.
It's not built in at all, and it's just the neck, so please treat it as junk.
Therefore, no claims and no returns please.
Anyway, I don't know if you can tell from the image, but the wood grain is really tiger-like, and it's amazing.
Vintage Tokai is truly amazing.
