This is the Tokai ES-150J, the highest peak of the ES series manufactured in the golden age of Tokai in 1981. Specifications such as mahogany neck old cashew finish, ebony fingerboard, brass saddle ABR-1 type bridge, and original pegs on a maple 3-ply (maple & spruce center block) body with beautiful birdseye . Both PUs have been replaced with Duncan '59 (59NJ & 59BJ) from the 80's and output the finest tone. The quality of both construction and sound is high, and Tokai at this time is really wonderful. There are small scratches, play scratches, and fine bruises on the exterior, but considering the model year, it is in good overall condition and I think it can be said that it is a beautiful product.
