Is this actually a 1980 EGF-2500? More importantly, did it in fact sell for 135,000 円?

If so, I think I am going to go throw up now...

OMG!!!!!

I think it is, blister solid top? is EGF2500......that is what i have dreamed to get!!!! because they are so rare. 8)

Very good point Mark, although perhaps the BIN was 135,000 yen? The reason I say that is you'll notice the buyer has already left the seller positive feedback, and on eBay that wouldn't be possible to do if the auction was pulled. :-?

I feel a little bit better...

i very much doubt if the BIN was 135000, I think he was offered outside yahoo to avoid the fees..

heh anyway thats what I am telling myself so I don't lose sleep...

There is very few infos about this model. :-?
(Often in japanese)
It's even not in the Greco catalog.

Do you know what's different from a EGF1800 exept the (amazing) top?
Seems to be be the same DRY Z pickups. 8)

A classic trick that is used often is that the seller put a very high price to attract potential customers. Secondly he withdraws the auction and finally put somethin cheap up for sale. Then the seller and the buyer will still get each others personal information (need a registration paper from the city hall to sell and bid on Yahoo) and they can make a more profitable deal.

Been there a million times :D

Man that is a beautiful guitar, stunning!i am not a big greco fan ,but that is one i would love to own!
especially if it went at that price?
