    Tokai Les Paul... who knows...

I was nearly buying a limited SC245 Mccarty with 57/08 last week, because I wanted a Les Paul like guitar and I know that PRS sounds and plays great. After watching many clips I gave up; those guitars are really great but I'm looking for a Les Paul tone, and they can't do that, they are...

    Tokai Les Paul... who knows...

Thanks for the tips... I see you are a PRS user, as I am. what would it be to put some PRS pickups in a good Les Paul as Tokais are? Let's say 57/08, or 59/09. I have a PRS Sunburst 22 with 57/08, really killer axe !!! I know that it's hard and expensive to find those pickups out of a guitar...

    Tokai Les Paul... who knows...

That's a great looking Les Paul, congrat. By the way, the seller has accepted my offer of 800? (about 1230$); good discount I think, and being within Europe a don't have the custom fees to pay. I'll let you know what I think about that guitar as soon as I receive it (crossed fingers) :roll...

I can try the "make offer" option  Are the pickups hot? I prefer smooth with low outputs ... How they would compare with the mkII of the LS150 and other models? Thks

    Tokai Les Paul... who knows...

Hey, is this a good deal? No custom fees to pay as it comes from the UK. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tokai-Love-Rock-1981-MIJ-58-Les-Paul-model-Reborn-/290616023658?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item43aa109a6a Any advice about conditions, pickups or issues that you think there might be...

    Tokai Les Paul... who knows...

Are hand wound pickups a special order or a modification that you've done to the original pickups? When you buy a Tokai I wonder if you have to think of a pickups replacement or if the stock set is as good as the classic 57 or BBs.

    Tokai Les Paul... who knows...

The seller can't tell the model, maybe LS60, but it's not fully original and made up using some Gibson components... so I don't care for that. There are a couple of LS50 early '80s on eBay for about 1300$. I'd like to know if they are supposed to be better (tonewise) than let's say a LS95 /...

    Tokai Les Paul... who knows...

I'm asking the seller which model is the early '80 Tokai for sale, so I'll let you know. Quite interested in the LS92, since there are some not expensive. Juste saw one on eBay from New Zeland. Anybody has experience for guitars shipped from that place?

    Tokai Les Paul... who knows...

Oh, no, they don't bother me at all as long as it doesn't affect the tone. What I wonder is if the early '80 has to be considered superior than the LS95 or LS150, tone wise. I read somewhere that they can be compared to the pre historic Gibson Les Paul, or even better. Would you guys go for a...
