yeah I have one on my Edwards JP I know the guy that makes them their not very convincing up close cause the 'inlayed' parts are like mirrors....it does a nice temporary job until you can afford 100+ for a real gibson headstock veneer that you have to laquer in. that might be the next step, but...

I remember my luthier faded his historic in a sunwindow kindof the same way.....I wasnt sure if it was in direct sunlight or not...this clears things up quite a bit tho....he was concerned that if you fade anything that is photoflamed that the flame itself will fade off too. I kindof believe him

anyone ever yr this? my JP is a little red I was wondering if the burst would fade if you tanned it long enuff....?

I can see the tenon!! yeah its real tight goes almost to the end of the cavity, finally filed down enough crap to see a decent outline nice!

last night I sanded down the paint and glue and crap and still cant quite tell if im seeinf any tenon outlines or not....i really need to post a pic up

haha this is so cool, i really dig the japanese guitars....such personality the best kept secret in town here too, on the local forum for the music scene in this city all the kids are raving about epiphones and ibanez's and LTDs people freak when they play my guitars cause the lot of them are...

okay .... i even sanded it down for the last ten minutes to see if anything was hidden like if the tenon was somewhat deeper into the body and the build up of glue was covering it..... when you look at the end of the neck where its going into the pickup cavity it looks likere it supposed to be...

I have no complaints on mine except the lack of a long neck tenon that i was lead to believe that my JP relic had.... if mine is chambered however it wouldnt suprise me, the wood dents very easily but the tone on mine is killer!

Anybody else come across any jaguar guitars in their time? opinions? I found two rickenbacker copies and a les paul copy they were made in korea so I dont know how that affects quality but having owned three I was pleased! anone else? cheerz
