My 81 "inky" Wine red custom has that headstock design although the inlay on mine looks far more "figured" than the one in your photo.. Also has "snot green" tuning pegs.

I own a genuine "Inkie", there is a rose style logo inlaid in the headstock and there is nothing at all written on the truss-rod. I have never seen a Tokai LC in anything bar Wine/White/Black. I don't think I've ever seen anything other than a wine coloured "Inkie". in fact I can't ever remember...

Can't find any details on this particular model of acoustic Tokai made, Serial number is 018811, so assuming it would be made in 2001. Sorry no photo but it's a Koa wood body medium sized western style shape. Any info on the model would be much appreciated.

Just out of interest..There was dealer use to do *Korean Tokais*. They looked the bomb and had Mahogany bodies etc etc..Did a really bright Orange one and a Wine Red one. Where these the Fakaas everyone refers to?
