    Roadworn Strat

yes, you are correct, 50s should be maple, 60s shound be rosewood. Thats sort of the monst common unwritten rule with most fender guitars - maple more fat, rosewood thinner. Of course you can get different variations of them, but thats the basics.

    Acoustic Guitar

Just waiting to get my big pay check! Been working extra and nightshifts which means i got a pretty big budget to spend. Went in to the Local Guitar store here in Gothenburg, Sweden and tried out an Eric Clapton Martin signature model. I just fell in love with it. It cost around 3000USD tho, so...

He paid 3500sek for that, converted that is about 450usd, plus last time I got a greco in from the states I had to...

thanks JohnA! I enjoy it already, its a great strat sound in it. What ive seen is that they go for around 1000Euro usally, so I assume its a good price, especially since its professionally refretted not to long ago :)

WTB: Japanese 80?s stratocaster Greco, Tokai, Fender, Squier

no, I paid just under 1000usd for it. But im really happy with it. It sounds great. Ive read around and it seem like they only made 115 in the fender ones. Looked at 21frets and it seem to be a SST50. Saw your gats, they look great. What a shame that some stole one of yours, I will def contact...

WTB: Japanese 80?s stratocaster Greco, Tokai, Fender, Squier

okey, ive taken some photos on the guitar now. you can check it out here. Intressting is that it says 115 on top of the neck, or if its 11 5, like a date, but its already dated on side . Also its stamped D in the neckpocket. Its pictures of the wireing and all...

WTB: Japanese 80?s stratocaster Greco, Tokai, Fender, Squier

I am a bit confused now. chrisheyes, does your ST62-115 have the Squier or Fender logo on the headstock? However, your result sounds good, comparing st-100 and a JV strat.

WTB: Japanese 80?s stratocaster Greco, Tokai, Fender, Squier

I was reading somewhere that there should be some 115, but when I read around a bit more, it seem like its the ones with the Fender logo that are made in a couple of models. However, squier jv, did they only come in 57/62, export/domestic, and then in different colours? When I get back from Uni...

WTB: Japanese 80?s stratocaster Greco, Tokai, Fender, Squier

Hi there, thanks for your post mate :) To be honest.. I just got back from a dude and bought myself a Squier domestic ST-115, 62, JV strat for $1000. I loved it, it felt and sounded really good. Nice flame neck, just refretted with a bit bigger, but not jumbo. Feels like a great deal to me? re...

WTB: Japanese 80?s stratocaster Greco, Tokai, Fender, Squier

Im looking to buy myself a stratocaster from the 80?s. No lower end models. Cosmetics doesnt really matter too much. Im looking for a strat with C shape neck, 50s, 60s (pretty open with the yr) SSS pickups. Something that sound and plays great. SE600, 700, 800, ST-80, JV strat, and so on...

identify a Fernandes Burny Custom Stratocaster

ok mid to upper. I by watching the picture I recon it looks like a 3-pce body. I assume its from 1975 because of the serial number. It would feel good to actually hear that it is a great model before buying it he he. But still strats are different, and three piece doesnt not mean it will sound...

identify a Fernandes Burny Custom Stratocaster

Me neither! I compared the headstock on a year, 1975, FST-50-72 and that seem to be the only one that I found with that head. It also had the same weight, 4.5kg :) I kind of want to know if these guitars are any good, or if it is a too early model. Thanks
