This is from Jack Bruce and friends. Jack being my reason for taking up the Bass as a young teenager but I also want to highlight a great guitarist Clem Clempson. https://youtu.be/19dWjeH1y7E

Hi, Tokai fans, long time no see! I have just managed to login here after a very long time, somehow my German umlaut in the original username got lost during these years, and my account had to be reactivated, also with a different email address. But it seems that I can access my old threads and even edit them, so all fine now.

Don't remember if I had already mentioned Last.fm here where I have a profile which shows my current tracks that I listen to on Deezer, Spotify, YouTube, Last.fm or my computer. Anyway, my latest discovery is Larkin Poe, two sisters from Atlanta, GA:

Welcome back! And Atlanta, Ga? I grew up there.

This is a very small world!

I’ll add another female musician I saw at Warren Haynes Christmas Jam here where I live. Joanne Shaw Taylor. She absolutely tore it up.

Here’s a studio recording of her.

And I don’t know where else to post it, but one guitarist ive seen many times sitting in with Warren Haynes and others at his annual Christmas Jam is a North Carolina guitarist named Audley Freed. Every time I hear that guy play, the tone knocks me over and I snap to attention. I didn’t even know he played in the Black Crowes. Amazing guitarist.

Another one from Warren Haynes Christmas Jam. This was on a side stage during set changes. It was snowing boatloads outside and the city was shut down and I was stuck inside listening to this…. 8)

Rainbow was the headlining band for the first concert I ever saw; July 30, 1976 8) three bands for $6 :D

I played Flying Vs & SGs back then  but the Strat in Ritchies hands certainly got my attention 8)

Ritchie was the main influence that drove me to play Strats exclusively for 20 years, from 1981 to 2001 :D

I'm feeling a little Randy H. right now 8) LOVE me some Randy H. ............
