Tokai help please

Can anyone help me with a tokai i've been offered. They say its MIJ but i'm not so sure.

Those pictures are not showing a lot. Maybe on purpose?

Looks Chinese to me. 3 screw truss rod cover and the serial number looks odd. Weird burst too (too much dark over spray). Might even be a fake?

If it were Japanese it should say "Made in Japan" on the back of the headstock down low where these pictures don’t show the guitar. If this one said that I would still not believe it.

Maybe someone else knows more about it?

Chinese version I think but defo not Japanese.

In other words, don't buy it if you are looking for a MIJ Tokai. 8)
