Hi don’t know how to load a photo I bought a guitar serial number 0205124 and inside pickup cavity says T-2 nothing else has all Japanese hardware no pick guard ever fitted if anyone can tell me how to upload photos that be good after model

You can either post links or use BB codes to load the pictures. Imgbb website makes this super easy and it's free.

If you have Facebook go on tokai Europe look for Stuart Biggs post I’ve put all photos on there

It's a private group. I'm not going through the rigmarole of joining a Facebook group just to view some photos.

Just use Imgur.

I'm not either

Anyone know what model a 2002 love rock would have been fitted with 57 in neck and 57 classic plus in bridge I think it has 2 piece back 1+piece neck flame top and only identification is T-2

Those pickups sound like they were fitted by a previous owner. I don't believe they've ever been fitted at the Tokai factory. If you posted pictures of the electronics cavity we might be able to confirm this

Hope pictures help all I know is I cannot see the join in the front when hold it up to light and grain in pickups runs through all the way thru the top I think someone has fitted Gibson 57 and 57 classic plus in it got all orignal Japan 500 k pot and gotoh bridge and stop bar

2 piece back, JDM version. The pictures are too grainy to see detail in the cavities and back of the headstock would be nice.

Ok, the pictures help a lot but there are still some questions.

First, this is clearly a Japanese-made model. The serial number and headstock shape indicate it was made in 2002. The pickups and the plastic pickup surrounds have been changed.

With Japanese electronics, a medium neck tenon and no fret end binding it can't be an LS320. With a 2-piece back it is most likely an LS75F but if the maple top is solid and the fretboard is ebony it could be an LS200. I've never seen an LS75f which didn't have a pickguard hole, but I know the LS200's came without those holes drilled.

The pictures are not good enough to know whether the fretboard is ebony or the top is solid. Look in the pickup cavities again. Does the middle join line up inside the cavity? Do the grain lines line up on the top and sides?

I have a good look tommow see if I can take some better pictures when I hold it up to the light I cannot see a join in the top at all and when I took the pickup out the neck the horizontal flame runs thru the wood together but I’m no expert will try better
