Hi all,

I bought a Greco LP directly from Japan and I'm trying to work out the model. The seller sold it as a EGC 900d or EGC700 - I can't verify what the pickups are nor what the pickup routes in the cavities are like as the screws are rusty and in bad shape.

It's got a MIJ nut but is a little too narrow for the nut width so could have been replaced.

It has G909898 as the serial number on the back of the headstock.

Plays and sounds incredible, so it doesn't really matter - just trying to work out what it is for future resale and to know whether the seller misled me a little.

Bought from KOMEHYO ONLINESTORE in Japan.

Here's some photos I've put together: https://youtu.be/vKJkYGDqVME

Any input would be appreciated

EGC-700 would have three pickups and EGC-600 would have the non-Gibson headstock inlay. Looks to be an EGC-900 with the factory Duncan's possibly replaced with newer ones. Made in Japan in 1990 as per the serial and the pots.

Thanks!

I managed to get the pickup out and it's 100% Japanese routed but it also has the longest tenon I have ever seen. Comes almost half way back into the pickup route.
