Starting this thread to capture pics of vintage gig bags.

I personally don't use them, but I have a couple that came with guitars I have bought from Japan.

Just wanting to save pics to get an idea of what's out there.

Interesting lens into vintage MIJ guitars.

Here is the the one that made me start thinking about these again, felixcatus' gig bag with the TOKAI name embossed on it.

Here are the two that I still have. The one on the right came with a 1984 Goldtstar.

"STG" on the bottom of the one on the right and a famous Japanese wrestler, Antonio Anoki, that once did a paid match with Mohammed Ali.

I still use mine now and then. Last time I took it with me was on the Thalys to, go play, in Paris.

I have quite a few of those nasty faux leather MIJ monstrosities but the one I have that really is cool is the split head stock Futura one 8) that showed up with my circa 1998 Bacchus BFT-58M many years ago; talk about rare :)
