I'd love some help on this. I'm after an mij breezysound (to go with 5 other tokais) and have doubts about this one. I'm particularly worried about lack of serial no. and discolouration round the mij sticker at the neck pocket.
I'm no expert but the headstock shape looks a bit off I think.
I have messaged seller but only got extra pics no direct reply. Odd, and odd makes me worried.
Thanks in advance
Mark

Always hard to say what is original when you have a bolt on neck.

The neck is MIJ all caps no serial Tokai from the early to mid 2000s.

All Caps "MADE IN JAPAN" No Serial Guitars

The "A" in ATE means a Tele model with the American market headstock so as not to offend Fender.

If it is all original it is probably an ATE50. You would need more pics of the internals to see if the body goes with the neck.

Thanks so much. That kinda makes sense to me. You are probably right partscaster. I'm not going to spend the guts of £500 on a neck and assorted bits. If I could try out it may be different, I'm only 15 min away and the seller never even answered the request to try. Thanks again.

You're welcome.

And I am not saying it is a partscaster, only that it could be, as any bolt neck guitar can be. I would check before I spent anything on it.

Most likely it is an early 2000s ATE50. Those don't sell for much. Check Reverb.
