Hello there !

I recently bought a Tokai ES 78 (Made in China) at my local guitar shop, and i would like to know what kind of upgrade would you recommend. I just ordered locking tuners (Gotoh SD90 MG-T) for easy strings replacement and wondering if i should change anything else (like the bridge, the nut...) and if it worth the money comparing to save for a MIJ.

Thank you and have a great day !

Typically it’s the pickups and wiring that make the biggest difference.

Can you post pics?

ok, thanks !

Yeah. This is a 2020 guitar and that Limited Edition line seems to have slightly higher specs.

I would guess the pickups are a version of an MKIII or MKIV.

Would probably be worth upgrading at some pint if you like the guitar.
