Tokai Guitars made of Honduras mahogany
Great Tokai Guitar here.
This guitar is not normal product line model.
This guitar did order by Guitar dealer in Japan.
Dealer name is Guitar planet that had store in ACHANOMIZU Town in Tokyo.
and Well regarded ESP/Navigator dealer .
They order few guitars to Tokai as Original model.
This guitar is special ordered guitar.
"reborn" in deadstock.
Tokai LS-GP/HOM Reborn Old Model.
Not cataloged Model.
Come with Original Hard Shell Case.
PU is original Tokai PAF Clone.
Plastic ring screws and parts are so rusty.
I did not try to take off it.
But from Cavity of back pots area.
PU did not replaced I can confirm(Solder still Virgin).
But Tone is authentic LP tone.
Frets left over about 80%.
VOL and TONE Knobs had cracks .
Weight is 4.1kg .
Neck profile is 59 style but not so fat for me.

Selling my brand new 2016 TOKAI Les Paul Junior replica LPJ1 as a one or two day special, since I have first bids on a vintage piece I would really, really like to own and need to generate cash NOW. If the guitar I'm lusting for is gone, so will be this listing, as I don't really want to sell this Tokai.

This is the best Les Paul Junior replica you can buy. Made in Japan in Tokai's Custom Shop, basically unplayed, with upgraded electronics + pickup. Don't mistake this guitar for the lower level (multiple piece body/neck) guitars from Tokai Japan or the cheap Chinese Tokais.

Has the OPEN BOOK headstock - can't get this anywhere in the US. This guitar costs $1480 new!

I upgraded the electronics from linear pots to audio taper pots + a NOS vintage Paper-In-Oil (PIO) capacitor. The pickup is a Vintage Inspired Pickups VIP90. I recorded a soundclip of the guitar (check out the Soundcloud link).

Absolutely no signs of wear, still has protective film on pickguard. Never left the house. Super comfortable to play! Neck profile is en par with my vintage 1959 Gibson Junior.
