Tokai LS-320VF

Product description

The best of the time, the LS-320 VF, has arrived in excellent condition!
The top is a stunning flame maple top, the back is Honduran mahogany, the neck is also Honduran mahogany, the fingerboard is Jacaranda, and the pickups are Seymour Duncan SH-55N and SH-55B Seth rubber models.
This time, it has arrived in excellent condition, almost unused. There is a small scratch on the side of the 6th string of the rear pickup that can be seen when held up to the light. It appears to have been stored in the case since purchase, and there are traces of fibers inside the case on both sides of the body, but they are not very noticeable. In other places, the
paint is cloudy on the head logo. The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod is functioning properly. There is no wear on the frets, and they remain at the same height as when they were new. The pickups, control panel, and switch panel still have vinyl on them, so it is in dead stock condition.
It was the highest-end model at the time, and was made with attention to detail. The neck is set with a deep joint, the pots are made by CTS, and the capacitors are Black Beauty by Spragg. The finish is lacquer, which gives it a soft luster that is unique to lacquer, and it is an instrument with a very luxurious atmosphere.
The sound is crisp and crisp at the rear, and the front produces a glossy, warm tone. The sound when driven is also exceptional, and it is so attractive that you will forget about time and play it.
In recent years, this model has become almost unseen on the market.
If you have been looking for one in good condition, please consider this opportunity.
Weight: 4.06KG Comes with pickguard and original hard case.

Looks very much like a Gary Moore signature from the early 2000's.

I really want to get a 320. They are few and far between.

The top carve on that is epic!

That was @currypowder ‘s guitar.
Yes it was, but the Maxon pickups were installed after I sold it. And I'm pretty sure it had a refret.

I had bought this one to see how it compared to me 2003 LS-320 and it was almost identical in every way, so it didn't make sense to keep it.

FWIW, I'll never be able to let my 320 go. It was the very first MIJ guitar that sent me down a multi decade rabbit hole that I haven't quite found the bottom of, yet.

The revival of this thread inspired me to pull out my 320. I've been spending a lot of time with the g7 and Crews and neglecting it. I don't know why, it absolutely hangs with the best. I do wish the neck was just a hair chunkier, though it's not small at 0.86" at the 1st fret. I did upgraded the pickups to a set of Tom Holmes.

Can you post pics of the one you kept? I can't remember if I have that one logged.
