For sale not far from me. Seller doesn't know much about it, I can see it's an 82 and appears to be a 60? The knobs do not appear to be original going by the 82 catalogue, are they definitely wrong or have they been seen before? No more pics unfortunately.

The LC60 would be 1 piece top over a 2 piece back(or vice versa), LC100 is all one piece.

And the fretboard on the LC60 is rosewood stained black instead of ebony.

Also lacquer vs poly.

So when you are looking at it, look for a seam front or back, and look at the grain of the fret board.

In my experience ebony is very tight grained.

Yeah, I thought the same.

But an '82 LC60 is still a pretty sweet guitar. :cool:

After getting outbid on eBay for this in feb, the same guitar popped up on FB a couple of days ago, apparently the buyer never paid on eBay. Got it for a great price. It does need a new nut, it's had a poor replacement at some point, off the shelf plastic nut that is not a great fit. Also the saddles need replacing. Other than that it's great, though I'm not sure if the stop bar has been replaced, shouldn't it say Made in Japan? One piece back and two piece top. Definitely a 60. Not much gold left on it!

I think he is referencing a current discussion in this thread:

1980 LC60M CS Custom Inky

In 1981 at least there was a maple capped LC60, the LC60M (1972 model), and those seem to have a volute.

Construction changed between 1981 and 1982.

* Pickups changed too.

The LC100 & 110 became one piece bodies whereas in 1981 they were 1 over 1.

And no more LC60M and coincidentally no more Nagano production I believe.

Found a case for it. LP120? I believe it's the correct case for the LC60. New bone nut. Done a couple of gigs with it now and very happy with it. Pickups (LC Dynamic?) sound great through my Dr Z MAZ 38.
