Bought this beauty a little while ago but really don`t know anything about it?
Light weight and I changed the pickups to Mojotone `52 quite coil tele pickups and 500k pots. It truly is a joy to play and sounds incredible!
Compared it to a mates Xotic California Classic XTC-1 heavy aged and it was a no contest.....the Tokai left it at the starting gate! hahaha..

Have you opened it up, and if so are there codes stamped on the body?

It is possible that it is a Tokai neck and a different body.

The color is different than the OWB finish.
