The D28, one of which was modified by an unknown American craftsman for the late Clarence White, is the so-called Monster D28. The fingerboard inlay was removed, and the soundhole diameter was 110mm, even though it was a dreadnought. The Monster D28 is said to have brought out Clarence White's sensibilities to the fullest. The Cat's Eye Project team has taken on the challenge of creating a complete replica of this monster D28, and is now offering the CE1000S to avid acoustic guitarists.
