Hi, looking for help to identify this Burny.. the truss rod cover has a single screw.. there is a single screw hole on the headstock.
Could not find any info at all.. the only info I gathered is Edwards has single screw truss rod cover but nothing on Burny.

Never seen a Burny with a TRC or access routing underneath like that. "Low script" decals popped up IIRC in the late 80s/early 90s, only pics from all cavities, pot codes etc. may or may not help telling a little more. Looks like an interesting outlier though.

One of the pots has a visible production stamp (39K), given the other features that pot was more likely made in September 1993 rather than 1983. The shape of the control cavity can't be seen clearly but it doesn't look like Dyna, another indication for the 90s rather than the 80s. The RLG-50/60 ("-59 model") is the only "Standard" that was listed as available in BL in the older catalogs, alas in the 90s the catalogs stop being helpful in ID'ing JDM-only Burnys.

I may need to update my timeline for these pots. I have not seen one later than 1992. This would be a first for me if it is 1993.

Is it possible that the pots were manufactured in 1983 but the guitar was made later? What's confusing is that the guitar features parts from various years..
Double ring tuners (81-82?)
Low script logo (83-?)
Green capacitors (87-89?)
Pots (83?)
Black finish (85-?)
Single screw TRC (?)
Black plastic pickup wire (85-?)
Long knob washer pointers (?)

It's 1983, not 1993. If you have a look at the pots over time you'll see that the placement of the date moves to the left and the K changes slightly, from having the lower stroke to come out from the upper stroke to being more like the strokes meeting in the middle. I think the latest I've seen is December 1992, BTW.

Dyna started building in 1987, but of course did most of their work for Fernandes in the 90's.

As far as tuners go, there should NORMALLY be the DELUXE stamped tuners on these, but I've seen a couple of SGs with "weird" specs from this time having these these double-ring tuners. Could be stock.
Thanks.. or maybe the tuners were replaced .. the other things that seems odd is the black pickup rings and pick guard.. my guess is they might have been cream originally

The only other Burny with a similar truss rod I could find is a 1982 LG 135 Neal Schon signature but it came with a floyd rose bridge

Yep, for obvious reasons... but that guitar has a volute. It looks like the nut on your guitar is rather fat, what is the measurement?

The nut isn't glued to the neck.. it just comes off loose.. might have to fix it.. about 4.2cm wide, 0.5cm deep and 1cm high
