Brian brand - what years manufactured and where?

Just my curiosity getting the best of me again. What years did Deviser/Bacchus make the Brian brand? And was the Brian brand ever made in Japan, or only in Korea?

Devisor was founded in 1977 in Nagano, Japan. Brian by Bacchus Jazz Bass, made in Korea late 90s, with teal finish. Surely in all of guitar history, no brand name has ever been as simultaneously daggy and awesome as 'Brian'. Bacchus guitars enjoy a famed reputation for exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail, and wood selection in Japan, so much so that they really haven't bothered marketing their excellent offerings internationally. Brian was Bacchus' first shot at manufacturing outside of Japan and was made very briefly in the late 90s in Korea. This particular example has a brilliant neck: slim at the nut, modern style fairly flat board, smooth satin finish, straight as an arrow, and solid as a rock
