i would keep it as it is ,,, a got 2 springy sound without the logo ,,, you are more lucky ... you can goldstar sound ,,,,
it is original and keep it that way i think would be better for the value

Hi Guys,

Maple neck ST-70's have a maple veneer board on a maple neck - quickest way to tell.
Pickups look like Silverstar and switches are all budget. given it is a Goldstar, I would aim around the TST-40 model which did use 6 digits numbers.

thanks for your help peter, but it does look to me like a 2 piece body, and the tuners are wrong for a 40.
the pickups do look like the ones in a silverstar, seen in an earlier thread.
1 piece maple neck, not veneered as you say.
maybe she's a bitser. :-?
