All Caps MADE IN JAPAN No Serial Number Guitars

Just collecting these to nail down the dates they were made.

Looking like it probably spanned a period in the 2000s.

Goes from earlier AST headstock shape to the modern one we definitley see by 2009 with more of a Fender outline and the truss rod adjustment at the headstock.

Looks like countersunk holes in the neck pocket are absent by this period?

Hyphen body code mark continues through this period and beyond.

Help needed to identify a Tokai strat

Pickguard, pots and possibly pickupos replaced.

CTS pots have a date that looks like 2015 or 16, so definitely not original to this guitar.

I think the weak ink impression on the CIJ Fender looks very similar for some reason.

Note the countersunk holes.

This serial number dates to 2004/2005.

So maybe the no serial all caps ones with no countersunk holes occur after this guitar?

...My 2002 AST-50 doesn't have the "made in japan" stamp on the neck, I think they started with that in 2003....

We have produced many guitars such as "TOKAI" copy models and originals with high precision made in Japan .

This machine is a prototype that was made when developing the GS100, and the electrical system has been upgraded to the same one as the GS124SEB.
The pickup is equipped with "L-WHITE" wired in a domestic workshop.
It has excellent power and excellent separation of sounds.
Smooth arming is possible by adopting Wilkinson bridge.

The body is made of ash with a beautiful grain, and the neck and fingerboard are made of maple.

There is a feeling of use and small scratches, but there is no major damage.

There are no problems with the neck or trust rod, and about 90% of the frets remain.
There is no serial number because it is a prototype.
