Hi folks
I think I'm going to have to do a re-fret on my ST70 Super Edition Strat.
The neck is a 7.25" radius, small h/stock etc. The frets have had a pretty poor levelling by a tech for the previous owner. So I can't get a feel for how high the frets were originally. (I will be taking out a hump in the top of the neck - fret Nos 14 - 18 are about as low as cigarette paper!)
I was thinking of getting Fender Vintage Fret Wires - but I might like a slightly taller fret. If I go for Jumbos it will probably mean a new nut as well as the current nut will no doubt be too low for higher frets.
Does anyone have any views?
All the best
