It looks great.
I’m no expert, but it does have a ‘super/custom edition’ feeling about it. It’s something that Tokai probably went “we’ve got all these bits left, what should we do with them”. It looks to have a ‘V’ profile neck - is this correct?
Everything is proper for 1981, so you’ve got a rare thing. How does it sound?
If you look through my posts, you’ll see I recently bought a Super Edition Strat style from around 1984. It’s weird because it has Tokai stamped saddles, which were pre 1983 and I can’t really find anything like it in their catalogues. I find other ones for sale which are the same, but a lot are ‘nearly the same’, with a scratch plate or single coils, etc.
