Looks like it's had a refret. Nice case!

The frets look larger than factory spec plus the fretboard is worn from a lot of playing, usually goes hand in hand with worn frets.

Sometimes these types of guitars come for sale after a refret, they've been played heavily for years cos they are so good.. but then they need a refret and afterwards the personality of the guitar has slightly changed, not quite the same.
 
I was talking to somebody that paid $600 for a refret then extra for the setup
