    >> @claudel, what finish does it have? Wine Red, I'd guess nitro, but I'm not 100% sure >> "Original" TEB pup and 1 piece body? Pretty sure it's all original. I've had it since the early/mid 90's and only changed out the controls a few months ago >> Neck pickup TE5? Probably also TEB. Not...

The string tree is closer to the nut on yours, in between the "A" & "D" strings On mine it's between the "D" & "G". The decals are placed around the string trees. Your headstock has the more traditional "F" style profile Gotta love old school hand assembly, I guess...

    Z Clones?

That's pretty much the plan. I'm just wondering if there's any winders that have tried to duplicate the Zs... I have a some nice wood that needs a nice set of 'buckers.

    Z Clones?

Well, since the originals have passed the boundary of cost-effectiveness... http://tinyurl.com/ydk77by are there any "boutique" winders who have gotten close / nailed the Z vibe at a better price point?

    Chandoler/Chandler?

Thanks, that helps a lot... I think I like Koiz' one better as far as the looks of the top and the "normal" control layout...

    Chandoler/Chandler?

Hi I ran across this one http://www.gbase.com/gear/chandoler-les-paul-model while surfing... Anybody know anything about the brand or the guitar? I've read that Koiz is a reasonably reputable dealer but never heard of this brand before. TIA
