    Incoming 1981 ES100R

I've got an 81 ES100J(azz) model - lower output pickups than the R version. Neck is substantial but not huge. Very much a 59 Gibson profile

    1981 TE70(?) Breezy Custom

Thanks Sig..... appreciate the leg work. Man, that speckled Tele (almost looks like birdseye) is fantastic! It does look like a seam at the high E ferrule as you spotted on my pics but then as you go above the ferrule toward the neck, the single piece graining is evident. Buddy of mine got...

    The Earliest Springys 1977-

Good eye .... yes that is a second serial number. My assumption was that they put another neck on while the ink was still wet and then swapped it out for the one on it now.

Tokai Bult Fernandes Stone Logo 1978 ST60?

I actually do have mine out of storage and playing it. I'll measure tonite. As corrected above, I didn't even know that some of the 78's had serial numbers on the plate. But time and again, Tokai has little "surprises" they throw out there every now and then.

    Identification Greco les paul

That's a beauty ..... I think that Greco had some of the most gorgeous bursts (particularly the plaintops) during the Super Real / Mint Collection era EG's. I love the Screamin 82 pickups too...... man, they have really shot up in pricing.

75?? I don't think so. I have one just like it and it's an 84.

Advice Needed: I Want a Different Tokai Strat From Mine

There are plenty of radius gauges available - I prefer this type because they are notched so that you can put them over your strings and they rest on the fretboard: https://www.solomusicgear.com/product/solo-notched-radius-gauges/

    Dusty Hill has passed

Dusty also sang Francine, Hi Fi Mama, and I think Party On The Patio. He also traded verses with Billy on Heard It On The X, Beer Drinkers / Hell Raisers. Dusty had a very distinct voice and it really made the songs he sang.

Stunning guitar .... price is ridiculous

    Fretboards

Unfortunately I didn't record it ..... should probably do that. It occurred to me that the age and cleanliness of the strings can also add to tonal variances - obviously new or newish strings are much brighter and snappy than strings that have been played for awhile. That can also affect how...
