    Whats with the disappearing threads..?

Well after reading your last couple of arrogant and ill informed posts Ned you can jam this forum right up your arse. You are a rude prick on a power trip, it is the people on this forum that have made it what it is and it is YOU that is letting all that slip. And for your information, the other...

    Whats with the disappearing threads..?

Apparently you don't either, you are still listing Canadian shops on this site that sell fake Tokai guitars which have been verified by Tokai Japan. I politely pointed it out in the classifieds because it was in the best interest of the forum, which once again doesn't seem to be your highest...

    Whats with the disappearing threads..?

If that was the case, i would start a new thread directly under it exposing the untruths..... There is no reason that we should not be able to correct misleading posts. I find the lack of thought around here kind of ironic. Someone comes here, wrongly advertises, someone else buys then finds out...

    Whats with the disappearing threads..?

I find this hard to swallow. I am a member of a few different forums and one very large motorcycle forum and the content is far more controversial than on here and threats of law suits get dealt with with common sense. I have yet to see anything on here that would stand up in court . Instead of...

    Whats with the disappearing threads..?

Well Ned shouldn't have pulled it because it had already been edited by the OP and it had relevant info in it for everyone. I am not surprised he is banned from rinkya , his attitude would have been a huge stumbling block if dealing with anyone in Japan.....He couldn't handle being corrected...

    Whats with the disappearing threads..?

Whats the deal with threads being deleted? That LS-60 thread should have stayed up because the guitar was unintentionally being misrepresented and should have been left there for interested buyers. Has this place really gotten that politically correct that you can't even inform someone that...

1979 Tokai Love Rock GT ???

Hi all, Dongrosh, you SHOULD {if you are as honorable as you say} refund Mike his money as you clearly had no idea of what you were selling. ST-60's also had "E" pickups so did ST_70's and 80's, this proves nothing and also goes to show that you knew nothing about the guitar. Your actions were...

    Canadian Firebird

Gday Mick, my post was aimed at the OP. It pisses me off as well that people have to lie and ******** to sell something. The bloke has 100% feedback as well. Mick

    Japanese middleman - obsoleteguitars.com

The price will be a little dearer with Hisashi because he has to honour the sale. if anything happens in transit or there is a fault Hisashi will sort it out for you. I have dealt with Hisashi many times and he is a good seller and has always been honest with me. A middle man just adds one more...

    Sunburst Lady Rush~

Spot on Mark, i have a very good veneer right in front of me and i can guarantee, when you know what you are looking at you can tell the difference. I also am a painter and what you think is the veneer is just lacquer bleed into the timber. Some are hard to pick, that 1800 isn't hard to pick at...

    Sunburst Lady Rush~

That is NOT a veneer, don't look at the nitro that has soaked in to the edge, look at the grain lines that continue through the cavity and along the top. Even that centre seam is too perfect to be a veneer, it solid.... Mick

HELP! What model is this awesome Tokai Love Rock?

Does it have a 1 piece back? if it has it could be a LS-320,there weren't many models without a pickguard. Some pics inside the front pickup cavity and in the control cavity on the back would help a lot, sometimes the model number will be in the front pickup cavity. Mick

sg-175 vs gibson sg standard or 61 reissue

Has anyone bothered to mention that the Tokai is Honduras mahogany? Spec wise that blows the Gibson out of the water, the Tokai will be better built and probably be worth more in the future. I have even had a great SG from the sixties but if i buy a new SG it would be a high end Tokai for sure...

anyone know anything about these love rocks?

Yes it is going to sound like a LP but just look a bit different. The Japanese spec tokai's are vintage correct. The one you posted is a rare {not collectable} US model made in one batch as far as i know, if you want a correct LP clone then buy one of the Japanese spec guitars, they are almost...
