This is a Silver Star I've had for a while. It's a nice guitar with excellent pickups (although I generally only use the neck pickup on Strats). One of the saddles has the adjustment screws rusted solid and the others aren't great either, so I was thinking this might be a good time to upgrade...

The switch on the ES120 is faulty, so I'm going to take the opportunity to rewire the whole thing to the max. Considering Lollars, Tonepros and complete new guts. Are there any suggestions?

Looking for an early Silver Star, 3-tone sunburst, rosewood neck. Were there different grades, or are they all the same?

The ES120 arrived. I'm very impressed - its absolutely flawless. After some lemon oil, a fret polish and some new strings it plays very well. Don't get me wrong, the stock pickups sound very nice, but has anyone found much benefit in any boutique replacements? For Otis Rush/Albert tone - so for...
