I agree. Looks like an EGC 68-50 Has all the right stuff. Open "O" matches the model year. Truss rod cover is the correct shape. Inlay and script look correct. "black beauty" just defines... a Black Les Paul Custom. Some people think BB's are only the 3 pickup models, but opinions differ...

I DIG this guitar! My other (and first) Tokai is a HLS240 with a flamed top, so having a modern era plain top non-Hibiki Shop model seemed the way to go. Yes... it is the way to go. This thing is gorgeous, sounds tremendous and at .040 12th fret high E there is absolutely no buzz whatsoever...

I'll add on to the previous and say I don't trust this seller either. Personal experience (I ended up not buying) as well as warnings from others I trust If you got a great one from him - that's great though !
