    Thanks so far, guys ... I have assumed they would prefer the Asian wood, because in the past they used to use the sen ash also for their Strat and Tele bodies and not an (imported) American ash.     Nah ... if I were you I'd stay with the ABR-1- style bridge ... maybe the saddles have worn off during the years ... Try a new (reliced?) Faber bridge from togps with brass saddles ... at a reasonable price ... 8) It would be a more accurate look for a LS50. Give him a PM ... :wink: Roger

    Well ... it's loud ... too loud for an appartement but I'm afraid not loud enough if you're used to play in a band ... I'd use my DRRI then ... For me it's OK and gives me a full load of nice cranked up tubes sound due to the four 12" speakers ... :lol: Roger

    Seems to be the back / head of the screws which you can see in the cavity beetween the tone pots ... for grounding purpose ??? :roll: IMO ... this lousy job is nearly a sacrilege ... :o Roger
