    1982 Springy Sound strat on Gumtree

    Not sure about that logo. There are a lot of decals out there these days. In fact, I have a 'Springy Sound' decal sitting in a drawer here. Neck finish looks a bit pasty too for the year. Unless of course the camera flash whited it out a bit. No serial number to go by.

    Buying Springy Sound Advice

    I had a 1981 ST70. Sold it to a guy in the UK a couple of years back now. I'll say this two ways. 1. The ST70 did not have a skunk stripe on the back. 2. Had a slab rosewood board...no skunkstripe. Far as I know, the ST70 is the only 'Springy' with a slab rosewood board and no skunstripe...

    The original 6Ib weight description was to get buyers even more interested. :D Last year I bought a super lightweight mahogany 2 piece strat body from Musikraft. That was 3Ib dead which is very light for any kind of mahogany. Nice if the history was verified.

    Hi, I'm Back! It's 'oldflame' here who originally joined in 2002. How are you Ned? Been a long time. I couldn't log into my old acc so I made up a newie that is close. Looks like you have more members than ever which is great! I am totally out of Tokai's now. Sold my last one a 81' ST70...
