Fender or Boutique comparisons to E series pickups

I guess the best judgement on the quality of the E pickups would be how close are they in sound to actual early 1960's strat pickups. Has anyone had the opportunity to play side by side with real vintage pickups and compare?

Fender or Boutique comparisons to E series pickups

TST-62 Pics to share and Introduction

TST-62 Pics to share and Introduction

Thanks for the reply Rick. I think the neck profile and string spacing is excellent on the TST-62. Feels beefier than Fender reissue neck and fret size seems bigger.

Gibson used this value on many models with humbuckers and IMHO it works well with Texas Specials. The higher value pots allow more highs through and helps improve the dark or muddy sound...

Fender or Boutique comparisons to E series pickups

I like the tone of the E stamped pickups. Are there any threads or comments on tone comparisons to actual Fender or Boutique builders models. Seems like the grey bottoms, coil wire, and DC resistance stack up close to the Fender '69 pickups. They sound brighter and sparkle more than '69's...
