I've had my Tok J-200 for a couple of years now and it's stayed solid as a brick house. The action remains low and fast and the sound has good projection and is well balanced - including the 'wooden' sound you speak of. It's definitely worth a look if you've been disappointed by the Epiphone...

Probably the thing to do is talk to Mike Palermo at Mike's Music and ask him if there are any import duties on the shipment. I found him to be a very straight shooter when I bought my guitar from him. Hope it works out CM

I suggest we offer our services to Tokai to do the distressing on their Relic models for them. They could send us, say, some LS200's or 320's in pristine condtion and get back nice Relic versions in a maybe a year or two. All they pay is the shipping. What do you think, Ned. Have we got that...

Hi Phil Sorry. I should have answered that question on my last post. My Korean J200 does have the Gibson style open book headstock. The headstock is not bound, though the neck and body are. Hope this helps CM
